The venetian chairman of the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino and the National Poker League (NPL) recently held a joint press conference and announced that the 2007 Vegas Open and the World Championship Tournament (November 24 – 05 December) in the Venetian in Las PokerRoom Vegas organized.
The 2nd Annual NPL Vegas Open, earlier in the Caesar’s Palace out, consist of four tournaments and $ 2,500 to $ 5,000 Main Event on 30 November. The players can look forward to an initial stack of 5,000 chips and 40 minute blind levels look. At the main event is raised even at a starting stack of 10,000 chips and the levels are one hour.

The NPL’s World Championship Tournament culminates in a three-$ 15,000 No Limit Hold’em event, also in the Venetian-oriented. The players start with 30,000 chips and then play 90 minutes until the next blind increase. The winners of each tournament will participate in the Championship Event at 03 December clock at 13:00.
“This is really exciting, because we are hard on our reputation for well-structured, exciting poker tournaments have worked, by our friendly and competent staff as possible.” Said Kathy Raymond, responsible for the poker room in the Venetian. “Fits with their NPL international flair best in the Venetian.
On the stage was among others Sam Riddle, Chairman of the NPL television. Poker pro Kirk Morrison and the radio host Dave Darra from Las Vegas via satellite, as host of the 26 episodes directly from the Venetian PokerRoom report. “It is good Kirk and me as a host, because it is the occupation of a poker table is,” said Farra. “I think that I am a good player … Kirk is a good player.”
At the press conference was also attended by tournament directors and special guests of the Venetians (among others Matt Savage and Robert Daily), and representatives of the NPL Justin Huxley and Kyle Morris. The professional player Michael “The Ginder” Mizrachi and David plastic were also present.
